Position: Senior Litigation Advisor (Admitted Attorney)
Salary: Negotiable
Location: Johannesburg
Role Summary and Outputs
- Enhance collections efforts from defaulting clients and legal support against client who are emerging as defaulters.
- Work closely with the investment teams when structuring and offer legal opinion.
- Push for payment arrangements negotiations as part of collection (including litigation, liquidation etc) and institute legal proceedings if need be - including against investees who have committed fraud.
- Manage budgets with outsourced lawyers and brief them.
- Engage in restructuring businesses through turnarounds, rescuing etc.

Experience / Education / Skills
- Legal Qualification and Admitted Attorney
- Financial Services experience
- Experience in Litigation, Restructuring, business rescue etc.
- Experience in insolvency law, commercial law, corporate law and Tax law,
