POSITION: FUND MANAGER
Salary: R1.1m – R1.5m
Location: Gauteng
Role Purpose/Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies; build networks within the various sectors, private equity etc to generate deal flow.
- Lead the full investment lifecycle i.e sourcing, negotiation, closing, and monitoring
- Lead the Deal negotiation, structuring, and closing including equity transactions.
- Oversee the Fund portfolio and ensure sustainable growth as well as impairment levels management within targets.
- Annual Business Plan development and Operating Manual including presenting of transactions to the Board and Investment Committees.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk mitigation.
- Mentorship, performance management.
- Manage departmental budgets.
Experience/Education
- 10 years in private equity, BBBEE finance and Development Finance.
- Knowledge of BEE Codes of Good Practice, Corporate law, BBBEE, valuation techniques, Financing structures etc.
- Degree in Finance (post-grad), MBA or CA(SA).
- Experience in deal execution, credit risk analysis etc.
