KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Lead finance work-stream relating to IFRS 17 Insurance implementation
• Monitor the impact of IFRS developments and adaptation within the business
• Develop controlling framework
• Improve financial reporting
• IFRS 17 technical application and interpretation
• financial statements review
• Make sure the Group Finance reporting Manual are created and maintained
• Finance processes documentation and successful implementation of IFRS 17 mapping
• Understand IFRS 17 from an accounting perspective
• Insurance General Ledger for IFRS 17 reporting
• IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 GL Recon

QUALIFICATION:

• B. Com degree
• Technical accounting exp plus articles.
• Knowledge of IFRS and SA practices.
• Knowledge of financial modelling, Taxation
